Welcome to Sezen Soyer–Uzun’s MATERIALS RESEARCH GROUP...
We are interested in studying science and applications of various engineering materials to be employed in biomedical engineering, construction and green&environmental technologies.
Our research group mainly focuses on understanding structure-property relationships in technologically important materials including:
i) disordered materials involving geopolymers and glasses,
ii) polymer-ceramic (bio)composites.
For this purpose, we employ a set of structural characterization tools together with structural modeling methods.
